Heads up! Our product sizing does NOT follow a traditional sizing scheme, and some of our sizing runs large, while others run very small. Every product size is based on a specific body part measurement and a corresponding size chart. Please refer to these measuring instructions and chart found on every product page before choosing your size! 

Because our products are NOT compression wear, they should NOT fit tightly! Think of a sock- they should be just snug enough to not fall off, but comfortable enough that you don’t notice it’s on and that it can be worn 24/7. There are NO benefits to wearing our products compressively; in fact, doing so will diminish the therapeutic benefits received by the infrared wave technology our products provide.

You can safely wear our products 24/7 as long as they are not worn compressively but should be worn to comfort. For active pain and injuries, we recommend wearing the item for at least 8-10 hours per day, for maximum efficacy- the more they’re worn, the better! All Incrediwear products can be slept in and can keep you feeling comfortable during the night. However, if any discomfort from wearing the product occurs, please remove it and get a good night’s sleep.

Yes, a few Incrediwear Products do currently have latex in them. We are looking for latex alternatives for the manufacturing of these products. The elastic band of the following products is the portion that contains latex:

-Hip Brace
-Shoulder Brace
-Shoulder Brace - Last season.

Incrediwear products should be washed with warm or cold water and tumble dried on low. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean. Products can be line dried after some wash cycles (out of direct sunlight), but they should be tumble dried on low at least every other washing to help them maintain their original size and shape. You can find wash and care instructions on every product page of our site, as well as on product packaging. Items with Velcro-like tabs should be placed in a garment bag to avoid snagging other articles of clothing.

The Knee Sleeve should not be wrung out or stored folded against the stays. They should be pulled on by the top hem and pulled down by the bottom hem. The Knee Sleeve should never be folded over or rolled, as this will cause warping of the fiber optic stays. Velcro-like tabs should be joined to avoid snagging the other fabric in the product, or other articles of clothing when stored.

All Incrediwear products are designed in Chico, Ca, and with the exception of one product, all are manufactured in Taiwan; one product is manufactured in China.

The knee brace stays are fiber optic cables designed to keep the knee brace from bunching at the knee. There is no metal in the Knee Sleeve or any of our products.

The stays are designed to prevent bunching at the knee. However, some customers report that they prefer the Knee Sleeve without the stays.

While this is rare, we have received feedback from a small handful of customers developing reactions. Generally, the reactions were not directly related to the technology or textiles in Incrediwear products. While Incrediwear begins to increase circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system, and reduce inflammation within minutes of wearing, the relief of pain varies from person to person, as everyone experiences the sensation differently. However, it usually takes about 1 hour to 1 week on average to notice a difference in pain levels.

The semi-conductive elements are embedded directly into the individual fibers of all our products via a proprietary process. These elements CANNOT be washed out, cut out, and will never degrade; they will continue to work with the same degree of efficacy after 10 years as they did on day 1! The only reason a product needs to be replaced is when it has cosmetic blemishes or no longer fits well (like any garment).

For best results, our products should be worn directly against bare skin. However, they can be worn over a very thin layer of cotton or other non-insulating fabric, if it is more comfortable, though this will somewhat reduce the amount of body heat that activates the fabric and mid- and far-level infrared waves that penetrate your body.
